Guided Educational Visits & Forest School

KSCP Partnership Officer Lucy runs guided education sessions and Forest school on the Marshes to engage young people in the protection and conservational importance of this vital green space as well as promote nature connection in young children and teenagers.

Each session will aim to foster a deep care and understanding for green spaces and conservation through a range of fun and engaging activities, such as river dipping, bug hunting, tool use, nature art and much more…

With the river Stour flowing though Hambrook and a wealth of wildlife calling the marshes its home it really is a great place to explore and learn all about this vital space. The Marshes is open all year round for educational visits (although wellies are a must in the wetter months!) and can be accessed via the Great Stour way.

All session are led by KSCP Partnership Officer Lucy, are risk assessed, and can be adapted to all ages, SEND and SEMH needs, and learning goals.
