Educational visits

Hambrook Marshes are an inspirational place to learn about and experience the natural world.

With its diverse plant and animal species, varied habitats, historic landscape and fun willow maze, a trip to Hambrook will inspire children and contribute to many key stage 1 and 2 national curriculum topics.

We have everything you need to plan a safe and successful visit, including how to find us, parking, toilets, risk assessment advice, a child-friendly explorer’s map, a spotter’s guide to plants and animals and other fun activities, including the willow maze, sensory and art activities and Pooh Sticks!

We can also lend you a resource box to support your visit, including binoculars for spotting birds and magnifying glasses for looking closely at plants and animals. We also have guide books, spotters guides and art materials.

And all of this is available for free!
