If you notice that the bin by the Wincheap footbridge urgently needs emptying, there’s a new way to report it to the council.
The bin now has a QR code that you can scan with your smartphone, which will take you directly to the Council’s ‘Report a problem with a public litter bin’ page. Just enter the location on the map, and upload a photo. Most smart phones let you scan a QR code by simply pointing your phone’s camera at the code – no special app required. If that doesn’t work, there’s a shortlink to the Council’s website on the poster as well:
